About the event
Come together over two days and one night and connect to country in a way not many get to experience.
From a termite hollowed eucalyptus blank, learn how to shave, shape, sand, tune and ultimately play your very own didgeridoo.
Immerse yourself in nature, step away from the noise and get hands-on. Come along with your son, father or someone close to you and share an experience that gives you plenty of time to connect, create and learn together.
At the end of Day 1, we’ll come together around the camp oven for dinner and hear stories from Rob Thatcher (Bulan), from Maningrida in West Arnhem Land, as he shares his connection to Country and the Yidaki.
You’ll then be introduced to the basics of breath, rhythm and how to find your own groove.
On Day 2, we’ll start the morning by making damper together for breakfast before getting back…
